I was a founding member of the management team, and was promoted in 1991 to the position of CEO & President, responsible for all general management duties, including finance, administration, production, estimating, and sales and marketing. Set strategy and provided leadership to the organization, including client development and marketing, sales, staffing, training, motivation, and development/facilitation of internal processes. Responsible for reporting the Ceitronics' division performance to the Corporate Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. Member of Cupertino Electric's senior management team that set corporate strategy, developed action plans, and allocated corporate resources.Accomplishments:-Posted a profit in every fiscal year dating back to inception. -Built a company from start-up to become a profitable market leader.-Completed multimillion dollar contracts in both the private and public sector.-Developed self managed teams that are empowered to make all decisions from concept to completion.-Created a culture and chemistry that makes coming to work a fun and profitable experience for both employees and customers.-Developed an employee profit sharing and 401K program.Industry Participation:-Chairman and management representative for District Collective Bargaining Agreement for IBEW Signatory Contract, District 9, Northern California. Chaired negotiations to determine the collective bargaining contract for 6,000 plus workers and 350 plus contractors in 1992, 1994, 1996, and 1999. The collective bargaining contract controls the employment agreement for rank and file for the Northern California communication workers.-Trustee for Labor Management Cooperative Committee and Trust, San Francisco Bay Area District. Trustees are responsible for managing the distribution of trust funds geared toward promoting the communications industry and monitoring labor related issues and conflicts.
