As a Professional Services engineer I was primarily responsible for completing client projects, infrastructure implementation/upgrades, provisioning and maintenance. However I also provide Level 3 support for clients when necessary, ensuring I am available for Level 1 & 2 Helpdesk Engineers whenever they need help, guidance or an escalation pathI was a member of the Professional Services team within Mercury IT for 5.5 years and progressed to be the most senior member of the team with regard to tenure and also exposure to client systems and experience with Microsoft 365As part of my role I have daily interactions with the following systems, be it for initial setup or regular support and maintenance:VMware ESX (v4, v5, v6, v7)Windows Server family 2019, 2016, 2012 and 2008R2Active Directory (Domain trusts, Sites and Services, Group Policy)Azure (Azure AD, VM Creation, Security, Networking, Site Recovery, Azure Virtual Desktop)Microsoft 365 Stack (Exchange Online, Azure, Sharepoint Online and Teams setup/administration)Backup solutions (Shadow Protect, Veeam, Azure Site Recovery, Datto BCDR)Datto (RMM, BCDR, Switches and APs)Cisco Meraki (MX Firewalls, MV Security Cameras, MS Switches and MR APs)3CX Phone SystemsI endeavour to always perform at my best and deliver the smoothest possible solution implementation for clients when upgrading their systems and providing post-cutover support.
