Primary role included guiding passengers throughout North America and Canada, managed group dynamics, booked accommodation, budgeted finances, sold adventure activities, taught camping techniques and outdoor living skills.One of a team of 200 tour leaders, I designed and operated van trips for groups of 13 international guests that lasted from one week to two months as we adventured overland in Alaska, Canada, USA, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. I operated trips under the brands of TrekAmerica, Exodus, Peregrine, Sawadee, Dragoman, Intrepid, Footloose, Grand American Adventures.Accomplishments include: • Designed and operated van trips for small groups of international guests that lasted from a week to two months as we adventured overland in North America with a 93% excellency guest rating. • Managed group dynamics and instructed camping techniques and outdoor living skills with a 100% safety rating. • Managed training, logistical operations, and equipment management for up to 250 tour leaders at a highly successful level over a 12-month period.

As a Corrections Officer II, I was in charge of up to 25 employees and 1000 offenders at any given time during my shift. I completed all personnel files and completed all housing unit supervisory needs as required.
