I am the primary architect, administrator, and developer for the Merlin Company, in addition to co-partner and chief executive officer. While working full time at ACES Group, I worked evenings and weekends to learn and build solutions unrelated to the work at the Pentagon at ACES Group, with their approval. A year after I began, and ACES Group's contract was up for my position at the DoD Chief Information Office, I built a private and personal investor funded startup on patent-pending technology later funded by NASA and the Louisiana Technology Transfer Office for technology transfer. I served as the CEO with my investing partner, the CFO, and was fully hands-on with business development, building the sales and marketing programs, leading the executive team and the development team, architecting the solutions, and being the primary developer at every stage of development.See the projects section, below, to see the details of what all we worked on over the years.

Data Scientist with authority to analyze any available data across any DoD branch. Top Secret clearance, reported directly to DoD Chief Analytics Officer at Office of Secretary of Defense. Transitioned to Joint Services Provider and supported the search and response of Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FW&A):• Lead in data science and business intelligence • Architected, built, led C&A, and managed HA SQL 2014 cluster to operations with new certification and accreditation RMF Framework• Constructed JSP Master Data Repository• Ingested SQL 2014 financial, personnel, geographical, information system asset, network, server configuration, and printer systems data into JSP Master Data Model • Integrated SharePoint 2013 Business Connectivity Services and External Content Types with custom CRUD driven databases• Enabled PowerPivot Galleries secure integration with external data sources• ETL with Spark, Hive, and Pig for ETL for cleaning and ingest to Master Data Repository• Used data, analytical and reporting tools to construct interactive visuals to communicate data insights to leadership using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Master Data Services (MDS), Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI, DAX, R, Qlik, and Tableau, • Coordinated with governance and cybersecurity leaders to have the right analytics tools such as RStudio+packages and Python, for exploratory and predictive analysis.• Negotiated with White House Services for access to official federal expenditure documents for ingest into Master Data Repository and for future comparison with in-house fiduciary reports• Worked with database owners for Army, Air Force, Navy, National Gaurd, and Marines to coordinate data ingests with data owners and database managers for batch and streaming ingests• Implemented machine learning techniques to highlight seasonal spending, yearly spending, and granular office spending behaviors to detect FW&A and redundancy• Discovered/reported many substantial anomalies

Built and operated start-up to support local businesses with Software Engineering services, to advance research projects at Louisiana Tech University, and building connections from Federal job providers into the Ruston, LA community.Engaged with Louisiana Tech University as Research Associate. Led numerous teams anywhere from 2 to 10 undergraduate upperclassmen, masters students, and even a post-doc to advance the fields of cybersecurity and machine learning. The experience was phenomenal, resulting in a total of about 5 years with Louisiana Tech University studying, leading, designing, building, and researching machine learning:• Synergized with a team of six expert PhDs in the areas of machine learning for implementation• Utilized university's ~3500 user's worth of about 10,000 keystroke/user typing data• Analyzed data sets for cleanliness, Gaussianality, anomalies, fully characterized all samples• Engineered 200+ features derived from a few sentences of each subject's passive typing data• Used p-, t-, Shapiro-Wilkes, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, and Chi-Squared tests to ensure independence, Gaussianality, and non-correlation of features• Employed k-Nearest Neighbor, k-Means, custom similarity, naive-Bayes, svn, PCA, Fisher's linear discriminant, linear regression, random forest• The primary engineer developed VMWare SQL and NoSQL high availability compute cluster and pipeline orchestration system, then revolutionized it on GPU's with CUDA exponentiating performance• Built confusion matrices, correlation matrices• Constructed massive graphs testing all ~3500 users' keystroke data with each of the ~3500 users' typing profiles• Imported graphs into Neo4j• Implemented R+ Tropical Abstract Algebra and Kruskal's algorithm for a novel approach to reduction of dimensionality of a bidirectional weighted complete graph to identify the biometric menagerie• Utilized GraphViz and Gephi to produce beautiful Fruchterman-Reingold layouts of the biometric menagerie topology

Provided enterprise services for various defence agencies, DoD programs, and S&P 500 businesses.

Integrator, core team software engineer and system engineer on the United States Navy, PMS 500, DD(X) / DDG 1000, USS Zumwalt Class Destroyer Program. Member of the Tiger Team recovering from the loss of the 100+ million dollar coastal Mississippi information system from the hurricane Katrina disaster. Executed core recovery at cold recovery site in Dallas, Texas in 9 days from total loss.
