Demonstrated experience in: Commercial and corporate transactions, negotiations, real estate, litigation management, corporate governance, regulatory, and contract drafting for all aspects of large midstream oil & gas gathering and processing operations. Drafted Gathering, Processing and Fractionation Agreements with upstream producers and shippers. Negotiated and revised Construction and Operating Agreements for oil/gas facilities and system build out. Drafted and negotiated Interconnect Agreements for development of gathering system and delivery of gathering services to downstream facilities.

 Handled all aspects of the defense of complex product/commercial liability, professional liability/negligence, construction, environmental, drug, medical device, consumer and food product litigation, intentional tort, toxic exposure, and warranty claims from inception through trial, including catastrophic injury/wrongful death and property damage.  Served as national counsel for insurance carrier to manage the nationwide defense of several hundred toxic exposure and product liability claims, including alleged class actions. First chair experience in trials and arbitrations to verdict. Began several other first chair jury trials and arbitrations in jurisdictions throughout the U.S. that were favorably resolved prior to final judgment. Served as regional counsel for leading window manufacturer in the defense of product defect lawsuits in state and federal court, including experience conducting electronic discovery. Analyzed and interpreted insurance coverage contracts and drafted and revised complex contracts, joint defense agreements, confidentiality agreements and settlement agreements. Representative matters in the defense of product liability litigation included the defense of claims of exposure to benzene, lead, PCBs, vinyl chloride, asbestos, and diacetyl food flavorings as well as the defense of allegedly defective medical devices, electronics, building products and automotive products.
