As a merchandising and operations executive with a strong background in strategy and process execution, I have nearly three decades of experience advancing through senior management positions to the pinnacle role of SVP Store Merchandising and Division President for two $100B Fortune 25 retailer (The Home Depot and Lowes). During a progressive tenure with THD, I spearheaded the turnaround of underperforming regions to increase profitability and market share, developed key talent to create a high-performance culture, and championed $7B in combined revenue growth for two of the company’s three divisions. Recently at Lowes, I have been responsible for developing a service and Field Merchandising organizations who drive and execute localization strategies for the entire organization. I'm also responsible for assortment and space productivity across the United States.Throughout my career, I have taken great pride in identifying and developing top talent, efforts that facilitated a high-performance culture across more than 1,400 THD stores and continue to support enhanced profitability. Most recently, as SVP Store Merchandising for Lowes, I successfully planned and executed a full chain remodel which has delivered triple digit comp improvement across merchandising categories impacted. I also streamlined and had strategic input on our assortment planning, space productivity and merchandising operations process improvements. As President, Western Division for The Home Depot, I increased sales by 7% to $27B over three consecutive years, leading the division to #1 for financial performance out of three divisions nationwide and growing revenues 17.4%. As President, Northern U.S., I grew sales 5% annually largely by identifying and promoting top talent into regional leadership roles across multiple underperforming markets. Serving as Regional VP over THD’s most difficult (and high-crime) region (New York Metro), I improved annual sales while reducing shrink to historic lows.Launching my career with THD as an Associate, I advanced from Store and District Manager roles to Director of Backend Operations and Merchandising Vice President, Northern Division before assuming a regional leadership role. Currently, I am seeking a new leadership opportunity as CMO, EVP, Regional President, or similar role in the retail sector. While I prefer to remain in Charlotte NC, I am open to relocation throughout the Southeast for the right opportunity and I am willing to travel up to 60%.Available to discuss any new opportunities.
