As the Chief of Staff and Board Liaison, I represent the president and the university through internal and external interactions related to the university. This includes working across departments with each downline and Vice President. I am also tasked with leading the daily operation of the President’s office. I provide service leadership, tracking and management, and oversight of discussion items to promote the President's agenda.I am the liaison to the University Board of Trustees on matters not directly handled by the University President; handle program support activities and matters of institutional significance for the Board on behalf of, and in collaboration with, the University President. I work with General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer to apply the University's Bylaws as they pertain to the operations of the Board.I represent the University President and the Office of the University President on certain University committees, working groups and events, particularly within advancement - helping raise funds at AU. Since my time at AU, I have been a part of a team that has successfully completed a $100 million capital campaign and secured two roughly $20 million dollar gifts.
