Each of these courses is designed to give students a solid foundation of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are essential in the social work profession.One of the core principles of my teaching philosophy is creating an engaging and student-centered learning environment. I employ a variety of innovative teaching methodologies, including the flipped classroom model, asynchronous learning, experiential learning, and active learning. By using these approaches, I aim to foster a deeper level of student engagement and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. The flipped classroom, for instance, allows students to explore content at their own pace before coming to class, where we can focus on discussion, problem-solving, and applying their knowledge to real-world scenarios.Lastly, I prioritise active learning techniques in the classroom, encouraging students to participate in discussions, role plays, group work, and case study analysis.
