The company is incorporated in Iowa to be close to Peninsula Pacific for whom Aaron has been working with since the inception of Gomes Gaming.Peninsula Pacific EntertainmentThe three founding partners were previously the senior executives and partners of Peninsula Gaming which was the United States’ fastest growing privately held gaming company. Peninsula Gaming owned five casinos across the Midwest and was sold to Boyd Gaming in 2012 for $1.45 billion. Gomes Gaming worked with Peninsula Pacific in securing two lucrative casino licenses through a competitive RFP process in Kansas and New York. The two casinos are the $425 million Lago Resort and Casino in Upstate New York and the $80 million Kansas Crossing Casino in Southeastern Kansas.The Aquis GroupAquis originally engaged Gomes Gaming in 2015 to assist with future development plans including an $8B integrated resort in Cairns, Australia, a $300M+ redevelopment of their Canberra casino, to assist in due diligence on casino acquisitions, and to guide other gaming/hospitality related development opportunities.
