My duties as an equipment manager are vast. A typical day includes preparing the field for practice. This task includes setting up agiles, landing pads, medicine balls, and any other requested equipment. During practice I am responsible for aiding and asisting coaches with running their drills. I also launder player and coaches loops as well as both practice and game day uniforms. I am responsible for setting up and trouble shooting Coachcomm, which is our press box to sideline communication system. In addition to that I also help with team travel organization and logistics. Some of these duties include packing the equipment truck for road games, as well as helping unpack and set up our away locker room.

My role is to develop and manage all facets of a 10-week multi-sport camp. The camp serves athletes ages 7 to 12. My job includes making the schedule for the instructors and delegating their daily coaching responsibilities. Each week I plan and implement drills in order to introduce/develop sport-specific skills. In addition, I have implemented a strength and conditioning program. The program combines basic body weight strength training with different variations of cardiovascular training. This summer I have added a daily Verse/Parable of the Day. The mental side of sports is crucial and can all the difference in athletic performance.
