5 Time World Cup Overall Champion. I first threw a leg over a downhill mountain bike 11 years ago, at the age of 20. I had never ridden one previously and would have never guessed that a random invite from a friend, would impact my life and career in such a crazy way. Many people said that I was too old to begin a career in professional Mountain Bike racing but I believed differently, I believed in myself. With a heavy background in BMX and motocross since childhood, racing professionally has been a life long dream of mine and this was the shot I'd been waiting for. Since that first ride in the winter of 2007, I've become the most successful American downhill racer in history. Based on the stats, I've accomplished 21 World Cup wins, 5 World Cup overall titles, 45 World Cup podiums, and 8 US National Championship titles.During my career, I've driven for success on and off the race track. I've developed partnerships with large global brands both in and outside of the cycling industry. I've repeatedly taken previously un-proven products to the top of their divisions, establishing their success for many years to come. As a self represented athlete and team owner, I have selected and negotiated over 4 million dollars worth of sponsorship contracts in the past year alone. I also lead the industry in rider created "signature series" product lines, having designed everything from tires to shoes, each category achieving high levels of sales and success. My strong passion for cycling, business, competition, and furthering the success of myself and each brand that I represent, has positioned me as a leader in my industry.
