Aaron Hall is the Founder of Intropic Materials, a start-up leveraging novel enzyme stabilizing nanotechnology to help solve the plastic waste problem from the inside out.Aaron leverages his diverse set of professional experiences in consumer products R&D, technical consulting, and financial management and strategy to guide his work and drive results.Aaron earned his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley where he minored in entrepreneurship, and a BS in Chemistry from UC Santa Cruz. Aaron also holds a deep passion for food. This is manifested in cooking elaborate meals for friends and family, exploring the incredible produce and restaurants in the Bay Area, and studying and contributing technical expertise to food systems thinking.

Through my efforts we were able to conduct 116 interviews (16 Regional Program, 100 National Program) with leaders across the plastic value chain. The information gleaned in these interviews enabled us to iteratively improve our understanding of the field, continuously revise our business model, and craft and frame our value propositions to speak to real problems faced by customers. This facilitated our efforts toward reaching Product Market Fit, and helped build our network for continued learning, collaboration, and customer acquisition. -
