Driving the development, coordination, and reporting of the MetLife Infrastructure Penetration Testing team, I’m responsible for guiding and mobilizing the program. ▪ Lead, and primary point-of-contact for all vendor relationship management, I’m in charge of directing our Penetration Testing vendors through our cybersecurity initiatives, coordinating efforts with our MetLife SMEs, ensuring that systems and resources are provided and ready for all testing efforts, as well as managing timing and budget. to▪ Drive our Pen Testing team to success by acting as the hub in all our team’s needs: directing team efforts, pushing for vulnerability remediation, ongoing communication with stakeholders and management, providing groundcover and support for everyone involved in our efforts to make MetLife secure. ▪ Manage and develop the reports, SOWs, finances, governance, dashboards, and contracts to provide guidance to the team, awareness throughout the organization, and to keep in lockstep with our vendors. ▪ Successfully negotiated proposed contract down by over 9% and saved the company an additional 30+% in cost-cutting measures.

Employing Agile methodologies, entrepreneurial thinking, and empathetic leadership to motivate and support our Engineering and DevOps teams to find creative solutions and achieve our goals. ▪ Working closely with MetLife’s InfoSec team, I built out MetLife’s M&A IT Risk and Security playbook for integrating and securing current and future acquisitions. Worked directly with the CISO and IT Security team at Versant, Inc. (MetLife’s acquisition), as well as MetLife’s VP of IT Risk & Security (Justin Saudo) and VP of Group Core AD (Carol Andreu), building foundational relationships for open communication and fully engaged collaboration. ▪ Guided MetLife InfoSec and Cyber Security teams through the Transition Service Agreement (TSA) with PNB MetLife India Insurance Company, reviewing the contracts, meeting with the CISO of PNB, the AVP of IT Risk & Security for MetLife in Asia, the SVP of IT Infrastructure Intl GIS (Tom Meenan) and many others in order to provide guidance and awareness on the direction of the TSA.▪ Led the migration of dozens of business-critical applications from an end-of-life Big Data server cluster, capturing the organizational customers’ needs and keeping our priorities aligned. Acted as the Release Train Engineer (SAFe Agile role) and Product Owner to foster self-organizing agile teams towards achieving releasable products to our customers, ensuring that the team defined and prioritized the stories as we worked through the backlog.

Spearheaded web, mobile app and UX activities throughout the lifecycle of designing, building, and maintaining digital properties for company’s white-label partnerships (AT&T, HP, Verizon, ACN, Samsung, among others).
