-- Responsible for managing all functions and activities of the association including managing two employees as well as maintaining all corporate, financial, and legal records of the association.-- Assist the MARBA officers, Board of Directors, and committees in the execution of their duties including preparation of the budget and succession planning. -- Prepare agenda, record proceedings of the Board of Directors meetings, and implement policies and programs as directed by the Board.-- Apprise associations and contractors of bargaining structure options and legal notification requirements.-- Organize negotiating and labor/management committees for each trade and prepare economic, statistical and contract language data for management negotiators.-- Respond to inquiries from association and contractors about labor contract terms and conditions as well as advise employers regarding grievance hearing preparation and presentation of witnesses/evidence.-- Publish a monthly newsletter apprising the construction industry of important developments in the industry focusing specifically on trades that MARBA negotiates collective bargaining agreements with.

Appointed by the Circuit Court of Will County and Cook County to preside as an arbitrator in certain commercial calendar cases.

Represent members of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council in collective bargaining negotiations with numerous municipalities throughout Illinois.Appear with public safety employees in pre-disciplinary hearings and interrogations with various municipalities and state agencies.Prepare and present grievance arbitration cases to neutral arbitrators selected under the auspices of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services.Research relevant issues relating to public safety officers and present findings to bargaining unit members.Assist in presentation of interest arbitration cases.

Represented Chicago Teachers Union members at dismissal hearings conducted under the supervision of the Illinois State Board of Education.Prepared grievance arbitration hearings from inception to closure, including interviewing witnesses, preparing exhibits, and presenting cases. Drafted, filed, and presented numerous motions with State Court, Federal Court and Administrative Agencies, including continuances, dismissals, and summary judgments.Conducted research and presented findings on collective bargaining and employment issues for Chicago Teachers Union elected officials and employees.Performed direct and cross-examinations of witnesses, introduced evidence, and made objections in various court and administrative proceedings.

I assisted the Compliance Director in all areas of compliance issues. Including but not limited to athlete eligibility, agent representation, and graduation progress.
