I am a human service professional with 6+ years of direct care and management experience working with the developmentally disabled population. I have a broad range of hard and soft skills acquired through my years in the field and a collection of interesting stories to match. I am currently looking to continue working with new companies in the Albany region. In my last position I worked with a small team to oversee the L.I.F.E (Living Independently Fostering Employment) program at The Arc Erie County New York. Together we provided comprehensive support to young adults with disabilities looking to increase their independence and mobility in the community. I oversaw the general operations of a small team as well as planning for the future and finding new opportunities to serve the needs of the group. My former colleagues/staff know me as an energetic, humorous co-worker who is capable of adapting to any new situation with a level head. I find working to serve others to be as rewarding as it is difficult and I am always looking for new learning experiences. Depending on who you ask, I may also be known as That-guy-who-runs-up-and-down-the-stairs. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors from the University at Buffalo in Health and Human Services with a concentration in Community Mental Health. Since then I've been connecting with UB alumni from Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and supporting WNY IVCF chapters through the Buffalo Advocacy council.
