DHAP Digital provides web based solutions using the latest internet technologies. As Interactive Architect I was engaged early in the project life cycle providing technology recommendations and project estimates. After requirement gathering an user interface solution would be developed based on business requirements. The result would be a detailed technical specification outlining the solutions features, technical concerns, and assumptions. During the project's development I would contribute as either a lead developer or a consultant.

Clarus Systems is a leader in IP Telephony certification software for Cisco based integration solutions. Consulting services include design and development of the user interface for Clarus’ ClarusIPC enterprise platform. Struts Tiles are used for templates and layout and JSTL for dynamic client side content. Client site technologies include JavaScript for dynamic manipulation of the current page through the IE and W3C DOM, with support for both Firefox 1.0 and Internet Explorer 6.0. AJAX integration provided real-time results and application activity from the server. Development team consists of 10+ developers using Bugzilla and Eclipse IDE with plug-in for CVS, Maven, and ANT.

Maintained and developed Reflect’s eCommerce web site for a high traffic Fortune 500 independent Beauty brand. Responsibilities included development of product and monthly promotional pages with cross browser support, new site feature, and periodic database product loads. Reflect’s site was created using HTML, complex dynamic JavaScript, JSP and Struts Tiles with Java as the business Tier. Complex D-trees tables were load using SQL Loader in a Oracle 8i database. Other one-off tasks includes; development of Reflect’s Customization Touch Screen Application for retails stores including Marshal Field’s Chicago and Gottschalk’s California and Maxfactor USA, and email promotional system based on PERL and local SMTP server.

Developed automated processes for customer intelligence and marketing infrastructure solutions. Main focus included Campaign Emailer services for Fortune 1000 companies. Primary tasks included managing the development and continual maintenance for automation processes for 5-7 clients. Designed and developed internal and external customer reporting system using ASP, PERL, Jscript, and VBScript. Managed maintenance of backend COM objects coded in C++. Developed email campaigns for Epiphany CME through Excel and XML matrixes and email templates using ODBC lookups. Created ODS processes in PERL to process client data files into XML, CSV based on Epiphany’s predefined record definition documents.
