Currently, I am the IT Manager for Confluent Development, where I oversee IT operations, manage technical projects, and ensure the seamless integration of IT solutions to support business goals.I currently hold the following certifications:CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Fortinet Certified AssociateBefore joining Confluent Development, I was an Engineering Team Lead for All Covered and a Sr. Systems Engineer at NexusTek. In these roles, I provide various skill sets based on the needs of our clients, ranging from server and network builds to disaster recovery planning to the migration of clients' infrastructure to the cloud.Previously, I was a Junior Systems Engineer for Infinity Systems Engineering, a provider of Advisory, Engineering, Intelligence, Information Technology (IT), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Testing, and Training services for the Government sector. In this role, I developed technical documentation for a cybersecurity position and served on an internal technology board to help keep the network in compliance with NIST 800-171.Before joining Infinity, I worked for the 377th Force Support Squadron at Kirtland AFB as an Information Technology Specialist. There, I supported an entire network infrastructure for 300+ users, deployed a VMware vSAN solution with Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 virtual servers, and performed a forklift upgrade of the network switches and firewall from Cisco to Brocade switches and Palo Alto Networks Firewall. I also built out a public WiFi network, providing free internet access to the patrons of various activities throughout the squadron.I have been working in the Information Technology field for over 20 years, providing excellent customer service and top-notch solutions.I hold a B.S. in Information Technology - Security from Western Governors University and an A.A.S. in Network Technology from Brooks College - Sunnyvale.
