I am a CompTIA A+ certified professional with five years of basic troubleshooting experience and a year of front-facing customer support experience. I completed my Associate in Applied Science degree with a focus in Computer Support at Clark College in June of this year. During my time pursuing this degree, I developed an understanding of Microsoft servers, networking, security and database design, resulting in several Microsoft Technology Associate certifications and the CompTIA A+ certification.My experience with troubleshooting goes back to August of 2011 when I started working for Lionbridge Technologies. My role at this company required me to troubleshoot unknown issues, document these issues and the steps I performed to resolve them, and follow the appropriate chain of escalation when necessary. I also created and implemented employee training documentation for various tasks. Throughout my five years with this company, I was promoted twice and ended in a position where people would come to me for assistance. Helping and teaching others is something I discovered I had a passion for during my time at Lionbridge.My studies in the Computer Support program at Clark College led to my employment at the Clark College TechHub in September of 2015. I was responsible for assisting students with the setup and recovery of their Clark College credentials. I also answered general computer questions and provided light troubleshooting, escalating to the Clark College IT Services department when necessary. I was praised for my attention to detail when submitting tickets for escalation. While working for Clark College, I gained a further understanding of Active Directory, virtual desktop infrastructure and online learning solutions.Recently, as of August 2016, I have been employed by JEA Senior Living as a Technical Support Specialist. My role at this company involves providing technical support for their 60+ locations nationwide.
