Working closely with the CEO and leading our business development team, I play a crucial role in growing brand awareness and driving new sales. Oughtred is a vertically integrated coffee company established in 1973. Our portfolio has multiple brands - Tug 6, Oughtred Crest, Farm and Forest, and Taste-designed for different demographics. As a large-scale operation we source directly ensuring freshness and quality. Our commitment extends to community engagement, organic offerings, and fair trade options. From specialty coffees to tailored solutions for food service, Oughtred has offerings for all coffee drinkers and food service establishments.Here’s a snapshot of my responsibilities:- Strategic Planning:Developing and executing sales and marketing strategic business plans to drive revenue and increase market share.- Team Leadership:Managing the vision and strategy for the marketing and account management team.Providing purpose, motivation, and direction for all marketing material, branding, online presence, and online sales.- Training and Development:Building and leading the strategy for training and development of the sales staff, including Regional Managers, District Sales Managers, and General Managers.- Brand Management:Managing and streamlining multiple brands and their assets.Ensuring consistent packaging and deployment of branded and Private Label solutions.- Competitive Intelligence:Monitoring competitive activity and providing strategic feedback.Setting strategies based on customer business drivers to increase market share.- Quality Control:Conducting quality control assessments to maintain high standards of product management.- Financial Targets:Leading all aspects of sales and marketing performance.Adjusting activities to meet financial targets and achieve profit margins aligned with business goals.
