My primary focus was cultivating new, large-scale growth opportunities for both our Safeco personal lines and Liberty Mutual business lines within the Independent Agency distribution channel. This includes renewal rights / book transfer agreements for portions of other carriers business via our comprehensive transfer solution, which enables companies to gracefully divest low-scale and/or non-core lines of business to focus on their strengths. We provide a smooth transition for the carrier, their agents and policyholders. During my time in the role, we successfully executed 7 of these agreements to move over $700M in personal lines premium to Safeco countrywide.

Partnered with underwriting staff to launch a pilot, including development of the workflow, organizational structure, training and evaluation criteria.•Led a cross-functional team to assess the auto dealer insurance market, including sales and profit potential, competitor positioning, product features, underwriting concerns, and agency/broker relationships. Created an implementation plan to write new business for auto dealers in 2012.
