I love creating great products that create business growth by solving real problems. Equal parts right- and left-brain, I enjoy combining simple and elegant technology architecture along with intuitive and cohesive user experiences. I’ve had the unique opportunity to build, optimize, and scale two DTC subscription companies over the course of my career.The first company was InternetSafety.com which was founded by my brother and myself. We built a cloud-based parental control platform from the ground up. On the heels of a #1 rating from Consumer Reports and PC Magazine Editor’s Choice Award, we raised venture capital. Scaling the company led to a white-label partnership with McAfee and the successful partnership led McAfee to acquire the company.I stayed on with McAfee to guide the integration of the product and the team. During this time, we internationalized the product in to 13 languages and delivered co-branded partnerships with leading companies like Verizon, Dell, Sony, and Acer. This growth led to rapid scaling of the platform to support millions of users.The second company was eMeals which needed to be re-invented for the mobile age. Again, I had the opportunity to build from the ground up, connecting meal inspiration and online grocery. The result is apps that have helped millions of families put healthy home-cooked dinner on the table.At the end of the day, I love building. I love building strong teams, that deliver great products, that cause companies to grow.
