I’m a security expert with over 20 years’ experience in various fields within the sector. I had the experience in working my way from the bottom to the top within the security industry giving me an added advantage on managing and improving any operations I am involved in. I specifically specialize in operational management, project management & implementation. I enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have proven ability to be a capable and confident manager developing my team’s skills and confidence. I find myself back in the UK unfortauntely due to Covid as of recently I was Managing Director for a multinational security company, allowing me the opportunity to start and run its operations in Kenya. Within 3 years the company has grown from strength to strength currently employing 1000 staff across Kenya. Even in Kenya’s harsh environment the company has become a market leader within the security sector featuring in many publications and maintain long business relationships with our clients.I have become a very practical and capable manager leading large and effective teams. Developing and maintaining client relationships and business development has become one of my strongest assets. I am often referred as a people’s person able to engage different personalities and developing my skills in getting the most from my team. I enjoy new challenges and are happy to go that extra mile to ensure the end state is achieved. Since arriving back in the UK I now work with a well established security company Star Protectoin Services based in the South East helping the company achieve its accredditations in ISO 9001 and SIA Approved Contractor Status for the first time. My role also consists of approaching new clientele and service delivering above and beyond on their expectations while also using my knowledge to produce new policies and procedures to future proof the company.Since starting in the industry I have achieved many qualifications relating to my field these include, SIA Close Protection, SIA CVIT, City & Guilds 7302 in Delivering Learning, Risk Management, Personal Licence Holder, Health & Safety, Basic Handcuffing techniques, Counter Terrorism, Firearm safety & handling and Control & Restraint.
