I make leadership decisions that determine the overall direction and strategy of our operations.

As the Director, Solutions Architecture and Delivery I work along side some incredibly talented individuals. As a team, we strive to provide value to our clients. In this role, I am responsible for the growth and daily management of the HCIT services team. Tasks span from client interface for project-based work, to marketing the HCIT services team to prospective clients. I am also responsible for providing architectural guidance to the development team, as well as implementing a development framework that allows for growth and sustainability.

AMS Custom Reporting Team -Very knowledgeable in the implementation, testing, support and workflow of Cerner Millennium systems including the Cerner data model, Clinical Event sets, pharmacy, orders, Profit/Revenue Cycle, Charges, radiology, laboratory, ICD-10, Meaningful Use and patient management. Extensive experience in the design and coding of CCL projects some of which include– • Smart Templates• Gen Views• Data Extracts (Revenue Cycle to Clinical Data)• Discern Rules• Labels• CBO (Cost Based Optimization) and RBO (Rule Based Optimization) script performance tuning• Modifying script select statements to take advantage of indexing for script performance• Specialize in layout programs for report display• Federal and state reports• Meaningful Use reportsRxStation DeviceWorks - Design and code from the presentation layer down to the model layer utilizing Java. All of these projects are done in an agile development environment. Our development ecosystem includes build tools such as Maven and Hudson. It also includes utilizing crucible for our peer code reviews. Worked closely with the Pharmacy, Orders and Supply Chain teams for seamless integration. Also utilizing services and scripts from those solutions.

My daily duties and responsibilities included MVS mainframe and AS400 first tier support. As well as PC/Laptop support and printer setup and trouble shooting for end users.
