Assist with the design, implementation, communication and day-to-day operations of the benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, and non-qualified deferred compensation plan.Monitor benefit administration and provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs to align with business goals and enhance the organization’s ability to attract and retain top talent.Compile data and assist with analysis as required for audits, cost projections, benefit program modifications, ensuring long-term cost-efficiency and cost containment for health and welfare and retirement benefits programsServe as a contact for plan vendors and third party administrators. Assist in vendor management through reviewing reports and ensuring compliance with plan provisions.Conduct annual plan audits and coordinate government filingsAssist with implementation of global benefits projectsDesign and distribute materials and communication tools for benefit orientations, open enrollment, benefits packages, online content and summary plan descriptionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues with data sent to or from vendors; ensure maintenance of data integrityMonitor and analyze benefit trends and stay well-informed of applicable benefits legislationMonitor participant behavior, including membership, plan selection and usage, and 401(k) investment choicesMonitor plan expenses for health and welfare plans, and fees and fee disclosure requirements for the 401(k) planAssist in addressing unique issues and providing solutions aligned with corporate policy

The Benefits Operations Manager (BOM) is accountable for managing operational performance for assigned client(s). This includes meeting and exceeding contractual performance standards and defined operational measures. The BOM is responsible for making sure that the all ongoing work is delivered timely and with quality to plan sponsors and plan participants. This includes project planning, scheduling and managing, capacity and utilization management, delegating work to meet deliverables, and tracking the status of outstanding work, using either onshore or offshore resources. The BOM is accountable for identifying process improvements that will lead to year-over-year efficiencies in the aligned client group’s operational workloads. The BOM is also a contact for client, Third-Party Administrators, as well as all internal Shared Services that impact ongoing operations.

Responsible for all qualified and non-qualified pension payment processing.Manager of several high profile projects including: Proxy Pension calculations (qualified and non-qualified plans), Required Minimum Distribution, Actuarial Valuation. All projects require leveraging work through others.Daily interaction with client and third party contacts.Demonstrated leader and coach on the client team.
