Lead ASA for the implementation of Haemonetics's ElDorado Donor, eDonor, Donor Doc, and Hemasphere applications for the institution's blood donor operations. Continued to support the suite of Haemonetics applications post go live by meeting with donor operations staff and implementing desired changes to the applications' workflows.Took the initiative to improve the blood component manufacturing process in ElDorado Donor after seeing how repetitive it was for staff. Used AutoHotkey in conjunction with custom barcode cheat sheets and handheld barcode scanner programming to increase manufacturing process speeds by 300%. Wrote custom SQL scripts and created Windows batch files and scheduled tasks to automate repetitive test ordering and circumvent shortfalls in ElDorado Donor's test-ordering-based-on-criteria ability, freeing up at least an hour per night of techs manually adding tests to subsets of samples. Created custom Crystal Reports for pathologists and lab management. Granulocyte Donor Prescreen report reduced pathologists' daily granulocyte donor review time by an average of eight hours each week. Monthly Indicators Report saved management 8+ hours of manual data tallying per month.

From 2009 to 2011 worked solely in the Transfusion Service lab. In 2011 transitioned to Database Coordinator role for Donor Operations with my main responsibilities being to coordinate application changes with LIS and perform all validation testing with thorough documentation. Continued to perform bench work in the lab once a week.
