My story is one of starting and scaling companies in the technology and bio/pharma industries since 1994. I collaborate with and am inspired by professionals who pursue scientific productivity. The companies I've joined or founded helped deliver better health for patients suffering from cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, neuropathic pain, and viral threats. I've been instrumental in the success of early-stage companies. Two have been acquired by leaders in their fields(PersonaLogic->AOL) and (Calistoga->Gilead), and one successfully went public (Icosavax: ICVX). I have worked with and for tremendous leaders and visionary investors. I love the work that I do and the connection I drive with colleagues, potential partners, and stakeholders of all kinds. Outside of my career in the Life Sciences, I play tennis in the USTA and channel my love for the game through Volli, Inc. - a lovely side-project app that helps players share league and tournament stats and standings. One day it could be so much more. I volunteer in my community and enthusiastically support the Village Theatre by serving as Treasurer and chair of the finance committee on the board of directors. Musical theater is a powerful art form that brings people together, and I enjoy being a part of this artistic community.
