Running a channel creating high-quality content, with the aim of helping viewers or potential buyers make better decisions in buying and using tech gear, climbing equipment, and cars. I write, script, shoot, edit, and advertise my own quality content, and getting better at it every day!Current viewership comprises people who are outdoorsy, tech-oriented, and gear-heads. - Managed all aspects of VF Outdoor's LCMS in its corporate and retail L&D spaces, including maintaining groups, push certifications, reporting, and welcome page updates.- Developed highly-received blended and standalone e-content that impacted 600+ corporate and thousands of retail employees, saving >$100k/year over external training costs.- Made year-to-year improvements in training initiatives and offerings due in part to trending/gap analysis dashboards I collected/presented to leadership.- Served as design, A/V, and grammar guru for the L&D team, as well as the greater HR group.- Managed 60+ onsite/offsite training and enrollment logistics, including event planning, catering, post-mortem surveys, etc.

Developed and supported innovative and creative e-learning and live training solutions for John Muir Health's network of clinical and non-clinical employees in the Northern California area. Supported extensive organization-wide initiatives and roll-outs. - Played major role in organization upgrade from Healthstream LMS to Taleo Learn that involved (a) the consolidation and complete redesigning of current online courseware, with estimated training savings to organization of $1.2 million, (b) train and support organization in its adoption of Taleo Learn.- Had major part in education department's implementation of Sharepoint Cloud, such as setting up site structure, look-and-feel, and user permissions.- Primary advocate and sponsor for the department's adoption of new course development tools and resources, such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and Lynda.com.- Confer with SMEs to develop and design e-learning course material in various formats, including Flash, PowerPoint, Captivate, etc.- Support the Healthstream LMS for the entire John Muir Health network, which includes issue resolution, reporting, and course posting/assigning.- Conduct live new hire orientation of the LMS and its courses on a weekly basis.- Supervise, build and administer automatic response system presentations for use by medical staff.- Serve as technical resource to Learning and Development team, e.g. conduct software training, troubleshooting, etc.

Partnered with various departments across the organization to identify learning and developing needs related to proprietary and 3rd party applications and platforms. Leveraged learning and development theory, such as ADDIE, to independently evaluate learning needs, present strategies to peers, management, and customers, and develop relevant training solutions. - Created sets of successful media-heavy e-Learning modules that supported major corporate initiatives, such as for new hire training, online time reporting management, employee performance reviews and so on.- On an ongoing basis, developed well-designed self-paced online training modules, reference manuals, simulations, and hands-on practice for both internal tools as well as commercially licensed software.

Developed and delivered innovative blended learning solutions for all associates, from management to new hires, to service reps in national call centers and clinicians. Products included self-paced e-Learning modules, live classroom and online training, reference manuals, simulations, and hands-on practice for both internally-developed processes and commercially licensed software packages.- Created a series of high-profile 30-60min HR, industrial security and compliance e-Learning projects that were well-received, that led to significant improvement in overall employee efficiency, awareness and reliability.- Successfully developed partnerships with line management to identify organizational issues and create solutions, while conducting workflow task/performance issue analysis and consultations. - Provided administrative and technical support in maintaining, implementing and supporting corporate learning management system (LMS); the support network was for two domains comprised of over 15,000 users. During this time, user complaints dramatically decreased and response time was shortened as well.

Worked on planning and designing of courses for the production lab. Courses include start-up and shut down equipment operation, QC procedures; health and safety procedures, product inspection and equipment maintenance.- Worked closely with shift managers and supervisors in managing new hire training to greatly improve on-job acclimatization and reduce line downtime, especially during peak output periods.- Constantly evaluated quality measures and specifications of bindery production line to improve efficiency and raise already class-leading quality standards. - Conducted quality meetings with shift managers and leads with reference to observed production deficiencies, customer service returns, and general quality issues. Output quality of production line consequently improved from 15% defect rate to below 5%.

- Directed Quality team in ensuring day-to-day quality testing and inspection procedures per organization’s ISO:9001 policies were maintained and vigilantly controlled. - Played key role in formalizing benchmark quality standards in container handling equipment industry. - Quality liaison to local and foreign clients, with responsibility in examining feedback and complaints, relaying specifics to appropriate department(s), and providing rapid problem solutions. - Expanded Quality Department; recruited new Quality Technicians and a Quality Secretary. - Successfully improved post-production, pre-delivery testing/inspection efficiency to enable higher plant output; manufacturing facility output increased by 35 percent in 2003. - Received training & certification in the following: March 2001 – In-house training Welding Visual Inspection qualification August 2001 – Internal Quality Auditor certification at Neville-Clarke, Penang May 2003 – AWS D1.1 Non-destructive testing & inspection for MPI, UT and PT
