Deep professional experience in the hospitality industry gained over the last 6 years, across bar & venue management, product & drinks knowledge, supervising, compliance, finance, invoice management, cash handling, bookings management & staff training. I learned the basics at my local pub,then broadened those skills at Bristol's Steinbeck & Shaw cocktail bar and its associated Pryzm nightclub. Over my time I progressed from Mixologist to Trainer & then onto Head Bartender in the cocktail bar and took on additional responsibilities as Bar Supervisor in the nightclub and began to learn about management.2021 brought some new opportunities for me, with my time at Reina broadening my cocktail knowledge and allowing for experimentation and the creation of a simple but elegant cocktail menu, in addition to learning the fundamentals of the day to day running of Bar/Venue operations. I began my time in Management with Dirty Martini through their MIT programme alongside the launch of their Bristol venue in December 2021 and progressed to Deputy General Manager within 2 years as an essential part of the business. Now I’m going back to my roots as a bartender, for Dos Dedos to explore the world of Agave spirits, Mexican cuisine and some banging Margarita’s. This is where I’m learning to broaden my pallet and further my drinks development, cocktail & menu creation. Alongside this I have begun to compete in Bartending & Cocktail competitions across the UK currently achieving places in the Monin Cup & Hacha Uk finals in 2024.
