Coordinate internal cross-function teams and external JDM/EMS partners.- Provide regular project status updates to management team from planning, development to successful launch.Accomplishment:- Lead the HW development for the first full-touch mobile payment terminal and hit TTM target.- Delivered the first Verifone JDM product with new Android platform and HW architeture. - Acting as the main contact from HW developmement team for Verfione portable and countertop product lines.

Responsible for leading the cross functional team and managing programs as ODM/JDM partner to deliver high quality products and meet key performance indicators like cost, schedule and quality. Lead an 8-10 people PM team and be accountable for 3 customers in US, Japan and China. Manage several programs with units sells in millions.- Act as primary point of contact, leads the cross functional team to build a comprehensive program plan to deliver product/solution and meet customers’ requirements. Allocate resources, track and communicate requirement and priorities for project plan.- Accountable for managing NPI activities and communicating the material readiness (clear to build) exercises with factory, suppliers and customers. Primary interface between program management, sourcing and strategic supply chain, and customer to ensure material readiness for entering mass production. Driving product cost improvements and value add proposals with internal engineering, manufacturing, sourcing teams and external suppliers.- Define product specification with customer. Review and coordinate product validation plan/progress and host process review meeting with customer in each NPI stage. - Plan manufacturing line setup, fixture and test equipment management, test coverage review and product qualify assurance plan. Review manufacturing issues in each NPI stage and review OK2ramp and OK2Ship reviews.Accomplishment:- Successfully launch the world’s best and simplest touch E-reader which made the top-ranked e-book twice in a row by customers report.- Successfully launch the world’s first E-reader with front light feature embedded within a tight schedule.- Bring the high-ranked tablet product into market and sell millions unit. - Lead an 8-10 people PM team and manage several programs with unit sells in millions.

Developed and launched handheld devices into mass production from concept through managing designs and manufacturing over full product life cycle. Skilled in HW design, product specification definition, HW validation and quality assurance and design for manufacturing.  Developed several ODM smart phone products. Led EE team for schematic /layout design, systematic validation and manufacturing test fixture/process design. Collaborate with suppliers to develop prototypes and demonstrated to potential customers.  Work with HW/SW QA teams to review and resolving issues for each development stage to meet customers’ requirements. Coordinated between RD and MFG teams to review and establish manufacturing process and product quality assurance.Accomplishment: Design and develop own brand smart phone with Qualcomm 1st dual-core platform.. Successfully design and release the company’s first industrial smart phone with latest Marvel platform. Develope 3G mini PCI express card and earned an ODM business.

Developed the high performance LED/PD through the whole production process from epitaxy, semiconductor processing/manufacturing and packing.  Developed for high power white LED by controlling the optimal parameters in the MOCVD process. Fabricated white LED and found different optical structures to enhance optical intensity via semiconductor design. Developed LED and PD for optical communication system. Job scope included semiconductor process, packing and testing in production line.
