Lobbying the DC Government in it's approach towards the live music industry within the creative economy, specifically JAZZ. We have lobbied our leaders for: - Creating business incentives to businesses that are willing to include music programming to their business models. - Identifying chamber members/businesses who would like to partner with local artists. - More music business educational forums/round-tables/classes from entertainment representatives. - DC Government push behind International Jazz Day -The utilization of DC Government spaces (or owned property) for Jazz & Music programming - Increase in affordable housing for Musicians (We are in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce in speaking with developers & builders in gaining knowledge of how to make this possible)- Saving the Jazz & Justice station 89.3 FM WPFW

I work as Resident Artist promoting the establishment, developing creative music programming for the establishment, while serving as co-host for the Capitol Hill Jazz Jam (every Wednesday from 8pm - 11pm) as well as a featured monthly show the 4th Friday of every month.
