Working with fellow MPA candidates to develop a future governance roadmap for Sussex Bay, the UK's first Blue Natural Capital lab. Delivering a report based on research and interviews with key marine restoration stakeholders in Sussex and beyond, followed by a capstone written thesis about the project.

At Latin, I taught English and World History, as well as advising 9th graders. I was in charge of my own lesson planning, and put significant work into developing the English 9 curriculum to increase the diversity of texts and the variety of projects. In 2019, I received a competitive INSPIRE grant from Latin's Faculty Fund. This financed a road trip across Australia that summer, which laid the groundwork for me to develop a special focus on Indigenous literature in my curriculum. Also in 2019, I attended the gcLi Leadership Lab, after which I facilitated a student leadership workshop and oversaw the student-run school store. In 2022, I was the head coach for the inaugural Latin Varsity Baseball team, winning the PCSAA championship and making an appearance in the DCSAA quarterfinals. I was also the assistant coach for the Latin Varsity Tennis team in 2019 and 2021.

At Legends of Learning, a fast-paced tech startup, I worked on a small marketing team to promote an innovative digital solution for science education, using tools like Google Analytics, WordPress, HootSuite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Salesforce, Pardot, Drip, and many more.In my first six months, I wrote 90 landing pages to build an SEO-driven campaign that drove 20% of the company's web traffic. After that, I wrote many more landing pages, blog posts, and white papers, managed an email marketing automation system for a database of 100,000 contacts, and oversaw the company's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.I also undertook a variety of non-marketing projects in customer service, sales, QA, software development, and business strategy. Along the way, I learned valuable lessons in entrepreneurship and developed important professional and communication skills that will serve me throughout my career.

During my senior year, I worked at Duke's Office of Information Technology, staffing the on-campus help desk to provide IT support for students and staff. I learned a wide variety of software and hardware troubleshooting techniques and honed my customer service skills.

Team Kenan is an initiative of the Kenan Institute at Duke University that seeks to bring attention to ethical issues through student-organized programming. During my freshman and sophomore years, I served on Team Kenan's writing committee, workshopping and editing coworkers’ blog posts about ethical issues in society, and action committee, planning and executing events on campus to facilitate ethics-related dialogue among students. In 2017, I published an original article, “Surveillance: A New Lens,” in Team Kenan’s online and print magazine, Encompass.

In the summers during college, I worked with the YMCA Day Camps. I organized and led daily projects for Youth Volunteer Corps summer camp program to inspire youth civic engagement, oversaw parental communication and camper registration, and interviewed candidates for camp staff positions.

During summer and winter breaks in high school and college, I worked to support the U of M Law School Office of Student Records, locating old alumni files and cataloging their data to prepare them for offsite archiving.
