In my current role, I am leading the design and implementation of our healthcare interoperability framework through serverless design patterns and am working to minimize integration efforts for clients and vendors.In all products and programs that I have been able to contribute to, I have a retrospective and a forward-looking approach to determine gaps in scalability that can be improved via process analysis and automation. Outside of role obligations, I have been heavily engaged in the internal Engineering Culture community. A cross-organization, non-task community is vital to any company in the technology industry. Some aspects of this include organizing and participating in hackathons, tech talks, and conferences.Previous roles:My primary ownership responsibilities were focused around the Oracle Health EHR APIs within the developer experience (DevEx/DX) realm to support developed APIs as a community engagement engineer in order to improve both internal and external developer experience through collaboration and communication. I led and built partnerships with hundreds of Independent Software Vendors in our code Program using HL7 FHIR, SMART applications, and Cerner Ignite APIs to integrate with the Cerner Millennium EHR's interoperability capabilities.Prior to my developer advocate role, I developed front-end and back-end software, the majority of my which has been focused in various languages and platforms of back-end services—including traditional and containerized deployments—supporting healthcare REST APIs.
