I am the proud owner of Aaron Mentos Music LLC, a music performance and production company that serves as my full-time job. While most of our clients are based out of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, we provide services all over the country and beyond. Some unique aspects of the business that drives our demand would to be our ability to cater our music tastefully to a diverse range of cultures. What truly sets us apart from the competition is our commitment to providing authentic and unparalleled cultural experiences by means of music. One service that is enthusiastically embraced by our clients is the Steel Pan, a rare instrument that exemplifies our dedication to that commitment. Additionally, we take immense pride in our ability to establish meaningful connections with the communities we perform for, drawing from our own lived experiences. This makes it easy for us to genuinely engage and connect with our diverse range of clients.In addition to my work, I am a recent graduate of Tufts University. At Tufts University, I created my own major called "Social Progress Through Music and Media". The Major is an interdisciplinary major combining the disciplines of Music, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Sociology and Film and Media Studies. I have a passion for music as well a passion for learning the ways in which it can be used to benefit society. This is embodied by a music driven non-profit organization that I cofounded called Alley To The World. We are a collective under the umbrella organization called The Sandy Point Benevolent Society. Alley To The World is a collective of artists from Africa, The West Indies and The United States. The Program's heart is the collective’s charitable initiative, aiming to inspire and provide free music theory and production clinics to students in our under-resourced communities. Prior to Covid disrupting travel to and from the island our team ran multiple camps for the youth of Charles E. Mills Secondary School in Sandy Point, my hometown in Saint Kitts and Nevis. During our most recent trip, our team completed the construction of a music studio in the music classroom at Charles E. Mills and we look forward to going back to building off of that progress in the near future.
