• Testing: Designed test plans, performed tests, and recorded results. This involved researching requirements, obtaining necessary materials and equipment, and critical thinking. • Safety: Performed job hazard analysis to help determine the proper precautions and personal protective equipment. • Calculations: Calculated the heat load that an electrical cabinet will experience during use to determine if active cooling is needed during the summer and how much active heating is necessary during the winter. Performed a pressure drop calculation to determine the minimum specs for the equipment in the design, and performed load calculations to determine how much load a filter’s endcap will experience when in use. Programs used in calculations include Fathom and Mathcad. • Equipment lists: Organized equipment lists based on information obtained from P&ID’s.• Support: Did support work for various projects that included obtaining quotes, organizing requisition lists, making a requirement matrix, comparing built structures to drawing plans, and completed HGET training for Hanford.
