Directed three Marine safety departments responsible for the safety of over 150 personnel and 10 aircraft spread across three bases; leadership resulted in zero operational mishaps while spanning three operational test periods and a shipboard deployment in South America.Coordinated shipboard logistical requirements of 87 Marines, 4 aircraft, and 37 tons of equipment while at sea.Supervised operational development and test plan design for Integrated Aircraft Survivability Equipment Program and Defensive Weapon System for the MV-22, identified multiple deficiencies during development reducing risk.

Led largest MV-22 Trans-Atlantic flight and first deployment of MV-22 squadron in support of Crisis Response Operations in North Africa.Collaborated with Combatant Commanders’ and American Embassies’ planning teams to develop timely and detailed joint contingency plans for 50 different overseas interests.Designated to lead maintenance detachment of 85 Marines and five aircraft, increased readiness by 25%.Created cohesive annual training plan for bilateral exercises between the USMC and the Spanish Military.Coordinated and devised training plans for over 60 aircrew to include month long training exercise comprising 131 events and 350 flight hours, actions led to 100% aircrew readiness rate in preparation for deployment.

Commanded 18 aviation maintenance Marines, maintained 100% mission readiness rate throughout 2100 flight hours, during deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.Supervised maintenance, preparation, and embarkation of flight equipment and ordnance valued at over $1M and procured over $100K in mission essential flight equipment.Developed and published new tactics for long range aerial refueling and defensive weaponry.

Managed Ground Safety Program, correcting numerous fire and occupational safety hazards, resulted in zero ground safety mishaps while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.Established laser safety program, resulted in zero laser accidents during combat operations.
