Reported to the Business Systems Manager with responsibility for overseeing and providing RACV’s Roadside Assistance System “RAS” support services which incorporates infrastructure, application, infrastructure and helpdesk services.Responsibilities included:★ Leading support services for a complex network of Windows XP Desktops running in a mission critical 24x7x365 environment with Intergraph Computer Aided Dispatch (I/CAD) software to support local and state-wide regional services.★ Providing leadership, mentoring and training to RAS support team.★ Working closely with 3rd party vendors and suppliers for management of services contracts.★ Ensuring 100% system uptime of mission critical 24/7 systems.★ Design and develop systems architecture and engineering to incorporate new products and hardware including automated SMS, PDA’s, VPN, Security and WAN links.★ Updating and testing of Disaster Recovery (DRP), Business Continuity (BCP) and Redundancy Plans. Achievements:★ Received the General Managers annual award for ‘Outstanding Contributions” and the annual RACV Achievement Award for ‘Outstanding Achievements’.★ Managed two major software upgrades to the I/CAD system from the SOW (Statement Of Work) through to implementation and ongoing support.★ Managed the Introduction of PDA’s into regional Victoria, a system which processes approx. 1000 jobs a day and involved the engagement of a third-party software supplier for development and managed services.★ Achieved 100% uptime of the CAD system, resulting in optimal operating efficiency.★ During ERA application upgrade project, consistently maintained agreed level of support and availability to the business.
