Design Project Coordinator / Design Engineer:Responsible for the delivery of plans to the production team for unique graphite heat exchangers based on customer specifications.Code Adherence✦ Utilization of a multiple design calculation software based on ASME BPVC Section VII Division I in regards to graphite internals and steel externals. Custom internal graphite calculations in MathCAD, a mathematical computation software. Individual templates created based on separate heat exchanger models, designs and specific calculations for isolated components. Excel tool templates for various code sections for graphite component design.✦ Compress modeling software, used for designing steel external components. Seismic, Wind& Snow loads scenarios considered. Weld requirements and X-Ray examination methods used.CAD & Production✦ Creation of 3D&2D CAD drawings and data implementation into SAP. Generation of complex BOM’s andcommunication with external vendors, suppliers, and overseas inter-company support.Department Support✦ Internal mathematical improvements and updates to Code calculation methods.✦ Founding standardization within team based modeling and process flow through the engineering department.Statistics✦ Successful handling of over 32 different heat exchanger designs totaling over five million in sales.✦ Founding of reduced inputs and efforts through the design department, estimated reduction of 30-50% input error and task completion time.

This was my second rotation as a Anderson employee. I spent my time updating and inputing data into their system "SAGE". I was also able to model in SolidWorks for a short period of time.

At Anderson Int. I was able to assist in an in-indepth analysis of parts; tracking time to complete machine steps and formulating cost thereof. I also was privileged with the task of large scale collection and organization of specs of unique parts. While in my down time to these projects I was able to create a template, and instructions manual for other interns/employees to continue efficiently and orderly, the work I assisted with (At the moment hard copy only)
