- Pre-placement preparation group sessions.- Pastoral support throughout placements - focusing on goal setting and troubleshooting - this was a mix of providing support directly, and coordinating with partners to ensure support is provided. Partners include Hackney Works, Supported Employment, Young Hackney, the Virtual School, Ingeus and New City College.- Progression support towards the end of placements with the objective of participants moving into jobs or apprenticeships.

Redeployment into the Borough Emergency Control Centre for Hackney due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Daily tasks involve being a loggist, working on both the Internal and External situation report and making sure that the Action tracker is up to date and being monitored.

As part of my management apprenticeship I Spent 6 months in the apprenticeship team working on building on the existing engagement offer, this involved;- Developing and relaunching the Apprentice forum and apprentice networking opportunities.- Support National Apprenticeship Week events to promote and celebrate apprenticeships, working with comms and Council teams. This involved creating vlogs and blogs that have since been uploaded to the council website.- Work with the apprenticeship team, HR OD, Hackney Works to amend and develop the existing development and progression training calendar - ensuring it is accessible, current and a calendar of rolling events is created which can be used across the service.- Develop the information available to new apprentices on the intranet.- Implementation of a formal exit process and evaluation.- Work with our team, Hackney Works / HR to support the development of resources to improve the application process / guidance available to prospective applicants.
