I'm an HVAC geek with three decades of experience in the industry ranging from product management, inside sales and technical support, to field install and design. I pick up on tiny details and will not stop until I find an answer. I write technical blogs for fun.My current role is Product Specialist- Piping Packages, Valve Actuators, and Valve Accessories. Five things that define who I am: 1) My earliest HVAC career highlight was working on a service call at Keith Richard’s house while he was listening to his yet to be released ‘Main Offender’ solo album. I have stories, just ask.2) In the summer of 1998, I was given the opportunity to spend six weeks in Germany working on my language skills, taking in the culture, and installing in-floor heating from a relative that represented the Velta brand in the Bremen area. I became a Germanophile and developed an obsession with Nutella.3) In the 00s my career took a turn and I moved to Orlando to pursue a professional musical opportunity as a drummer for a Corporate Convention band. I lived in the Disney created town Celebration and also worked two days a week in characters all over the Walt Disney World parks- friends with Tigger for those that know. The perks of having a Disney ID were fantastic. 4) In 2015 I fulfilled a life-long dream and toured Europe and the UK with my progressive rock band 3RDegree. I learned that monitor levels set during soundcheck would never match when it came to showtime.5) I took up running in 2002 and have since run the NYC marathon three times, ran a fifty-mile ultra-marathon, ran over 1,000 miles in 2022, and currently have been on a running streak since May 2022. The latter of which wife questions my sanity.
