Planned and built the Rocket.Chat Cloud offering. From the infrastructure architecture up to the automatic deploying of a server after a customer signs up for a trial.As the company grew I became a team lead and have a team of people now working with me on infrastructure and development tasks.Some other misc accomplishments:- Hosting Architecture that has proven to be vendor agnostic allowing for us to successfully migrate all of our cloud customers seamlessly between Rackspace to GCP to AWS and eventually to bare metal with OVH. Today as we grow this same architecture actually is being used across multiple cloud providers.- Fleetcommand - internal product/tooling that handles the automated provisioning to Kubernetes clusters based on customers need. Provides staff a way to manage the customers licensing and deployments- Cloud Portal - Rocket.Chat's portal for allowing customers to self service manage their Rocket.Chat workspace and licensing across both self-hosted and Cloud Hosted.- Marketplace - The apps marketplace and it integration with the cloud. Made possible by bringing the right people together.Along with these Product accomplishments have been involved in:- Architectural design and decisions across the cloud tribe- Interviewing process and hiring several roles across the team- Acting as Engineering Manager when needed- Helping drive agile/scrum adoption in my teams- Being a technical lead and reference in the company for many technical discussions across squads- Establishing our post-mortem and incident management processes- Driving the adoption in engineering of just simply writing things down. Leading by example the clarity and alignment this brings. First with RFCs / RFD's and later with ADR / Design documents. - Mentoring peers as they try to better themselves and become better engineers- Chapter lead for the Go Chapter and establishing a support structure and code standards for developers in the company writing golang.
