Aaron Ohlmann is a two time Emmy-nominated director and producer who has lived and worked in Hollywood, Bollywood, Nollywood, and Beijing. Ohlmann recently directed a series of projects with Olivia Rodrigo as she topped the Billboard 100, produced MasterClasses with Ringo Starr and Grammy-award winning artist St. Vincent, was the executive producer on Billie Eilish's "The Making of Happier Than Ever," and produced and directed the premiere episode of "Trafficked With Mariana van Zeller," NatGeo's highest-rated show of 2020.He was the Series Producer for the Netflix series "Dangerous World of Comedy," where he partnered with writer/director Larry Charles, best known for "Seinfeld," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and "Borat."He has produced and directed television for VICELAND, as well as VICE on HBO, including episodes of the award-winning series "Black Market" shot in Cameroon, Japan, and China.He produced and edited the award-winning feature documentary "Viva Cuba Libre" about music and revolution in Cuba, directed projects in Northern Iraq and Somalia for the United Nations, and lived in East Africa while leading an audio-visual team for a one-year term at the United Nations’ tribunal for the Rwandan genocide.He is a managing partner and director at Special Order Inc., a film & tv production company with offices in New York and Los Angeles. Special Order recently wrapped post on Ilana Glazer's first post-Broad City project, an A24 surreal horror film on Hulu called "False Positive," where she stars alongside Justin Theroux and Pierce Brosnan. Special Order also recently finished the 6-part interactive series titled "Damage Control, starring Ben Schwartz and Emily Pendergast, and two additional interactive series for Refinery 29: "Sweet Digs" and "60 Second Cities," launched during the pandemic. This follows the 8-part scripted series "Timeline," a for the interactive streamer Eko starring Rachel Crow, G Hannelius, Sammi Hanratty, and Donald Faison.
