I am currently the Executive Director of Fuse, a statewide public interest group aiming to dramatically expand active support for progressive leaders and issues, using innovative technology and communications.I worked on transportation and land use issues in Washington State for fifteen years, and served at the helm of Futurewise from 1999 to 2007. Before coming to Futurewise, I was a manager in the City of Seattle’s Strategic Planning Office and was a co-founder and director of the Transportation Choices Coalition. I am the past-President of the Growth Management Leadership Alliance (the national coalition of state level smart growth groups). I have a B.A. in Public Policy from Brown University.
