Award winning executive of a Private Equity backed, rapidly growing software and systems integration firm delivering industry leading solutions for Utility and Telecom organizations. • Led the organization through rapid growth from a 40 person US based organization to a 350+ person international operation, achieving 10x revenue growth and being recognized as the industry leader in its market, with direct P&L responsibility• Built product organization from scratch to multi-million dollar ARR, modifying company revenue and profitability mix to enhance enterprise value• Created consulting organization and developed industry leading standard offering providing multi-million dollar annual revenue and led directly to over $50m in implementation projects • Led operational due diligence for 3 acquisitions, and successfully integrated the purchased businesses upon close • Enhanced operations by continual improvement of systems and procedures to maintain profitability through growth. This included ramping up the sales and marketing teams to successfully deliver on annual growth targets, and build out a PMO organization capable of consistently delivering successful results for our clients on multiple large ($10m+) projects simultaneously • Two time award winner and current alumni of Titan 100. Led the company from inception to successful exit (sold to SSP Innovations in 2017). • Built AMI Office, an SAAS application for Utilities involved in Smart Grid deployment projects, combining operational and spatial data to enhance decision making and Smart Grid performance • Led a number of GIS implementation projects for major North American Utilities:- Con Edison (New York): Enterprise GIS Phase Zero Project. Served as the Project Manager and lead consultant to develop the implementation scope, cost and schedule for a 9 figure, 5-year Enterprise GIS Project covering Gas, Electric and Steam for New York, migrating from a legacy Intergraph solution to the Esri platform - Pacific Gas and Electric (San Francisco): Enterprise GIS Implementation. Served as the Program Manager for all Schneider Electric projects with specific concentration around the Electric Distribution Enterprise GIS program (EDGIS). Lead the delivery of Schneider ArcFM Desktop™ and ArcFM Server™ implementations, along with integrations to SAP and DMS to a successful go-live - Puget Sound Energy (Seattle): Enterprise GIS Implementation. Served as Project Manager leading the Enterprise GIS and OMS project to fully implement a Gas and Electric GIS with associated integrations and supporting applications, utilizing GE Smallworld and PowerOn foundation technologies

Member of executive team working from company inception to build a successful and profitable business employing over 60 full time staff. Sold to Black & Veatch in March, 2010.Lead the technical business, providing leadership across all product development, system integration projects, recruiting, mentoring and developing the organization to deliver successful projects with specific concentration in Smart Grid and GIS for utility and local government clients.In addition, was the program and project manager on a number of key client initiatives, including the development of an Enterprise GIS Strategy for Southern Company, implementation of Esri and ArcFM Solutions for Georgia Power Company, and the upgrade of Smallworld for LG&E and KU to version 4.0.

Lead software development for North America for an international system integration organization

Increasing levels of responsibility culminating in leading both the software development and system engineering organizations for the company. Smallworld Model Office product manager, responsible for the development and implementation of Convergent Group’s industry leading Digital Utility solution. Model Office contributed significantly to Convergent Group revenues and was a primary driver in the successful IPO. Smallworld development team lead, growing the organization from 9 developers to 45. Set up a worldwide hiring and resourcing network, including developing offices in UK, Mexico and Canada to meet skills need and revenue growth. Provided solution architecture and consulting services to a number of strategic worldwide clients in both pre-sales and project capacities, including EDF (France) and Eskom (South Africa). Project engineer providing the technical leadership on large implementation projects for high performing technical teams implementing wide-ranging solutions for utility distribution customers (both electric and gas).

As a Technical Consultant, provided onsite application development and system support services to Bristol Water, specifically relating to their GE Smallworld GIS implementation and related systems. Developed a number of applications to assist in system integration, data migration and cleanup, and day-to-day operations. Involved in developing software to integrate spatial data into Bristol Waters data warehouse, and responsible for the ongoing successful operation of the GIS.

As a GIS consultant, involved in a large number of GIS implementation projects in Northern Europe, developing software applications for companies such as Copenhagen Water and Grampian Regional Council. Project Lead in a data migration effort for South West Electricity Board (SWEB), and led a team of four software engineers to develop tools to migrate data from a legacy Bentley MicroStation system to GE Smallworld.
