As an Application Engineer, some of my responsibilities at BMI are to create CAD models and perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on existing and new products, i.e. bottom-dump trailer structures, MRAP vehicle structures, cranes, and rollover protection structure (ROPS). Being a part of the New Product Development (NPD) engineering team to innovate, design, and create new products and improvements leveraging the special products within BMI. Perform inspection and investigation on open claims and quality issues. Inspection performed per ASTM, ISO, UL, FM methods and specifications. Lead discussions on new product development and improvements as well as providing new interns with on the job training.

As a graduate research fellow at Saint Louis University, I am researching on developing systems and models to enhance medical simulation by providing improved methodologies and models to enable real-life medical simulation scenarios, such as brain surgery, heart surgery, and other non-invasive and invasive procedures. This will help ensure safety, effectiveness, and timeliness to the patient and healthcare providers.
