Aaron V.F. Picar is people focused, service oriented and results driven. Aaron V.F. Picar has taught all levels of education from elementary, secondary, special education and higher education. He is certified to teach K-12 Mild-Moderate Cross Categorical Special Education and Secondary Social Science and holds a Class C CDL.Picar has worked in public service by providing mentoring services for youth in foster care, taught healthy relationships and abuse prevention and awareness for the Safe House for Women and provided mental health community support for individuals as a caseworker. He has also served the community as a reporter for the Southeast Missourian.Picar holds leadership responsibilities at Cape Nazarene Church and International Christian Fellowship of Southeast Missouri as a youth minister, worship leader and pulpit supply. Picar volunteers with philanthropic organizations Young Life Capernaum, ONE Campaign, WorldVision ACT:S. He is a successful artist and musician; who showcased original photography art at multiple galleries. Picar wrote, recorded, co-produced, published and released "Rise Together," that he supported through touring. The album garnered praise from award winning musicians, industry insiders and listeners. Picar has used his music and art to host and promote benefits. “We are the new generation of artists, who believe in the power of art to lift your mood, make your day and change your world.” he told the Southeast MissourianPicar completed his BSE in Secondary Social Studies Education with a Minor in Aerospace Studies from Southeast Missouri State University. He is working on his Masters in Divinity at Memphis City Seminary and has completed graduate level courses at Reformed Theological Seminary and Southeast. Ultimately, Aaron V.F. Picar works to connect the unchaining truth with the changing world so others see beyond themselves to something greater.Aside from work, Picar is blessed with a better-than-I-deserve wife, the greatest children ever, a hyper-friendly over energetic dog and four fluffy cats.
