The BYU Educator Preparation Program (BYU EPP), is one of the largest, traditional educator preparation programs in the nation with graduate and undergraduate preparation programs housed in seven colleges across the university that prepare elementary, secondary, and special education teachers, as well as school leaders, school psychologists, school social workers, and speech-language pathologists.• Directed the BYU Educator Preparation Program (EPP) comprising 4 graduate programs, 27 teaching majors, and 23 teaching minors across 7 colleges.• Led the accreditation and compliance efforts for the EPP, including programs in teacher preparation, school leadership, school psychology, school social work, and speech-language pathology.• Oversaw the development of program-wide assessments and evaluations based on national and local standards used by 120+ faculty and 2,000+ teacher candidates.• Demonstrated proactive expertise in educational standards, outcomes-based assessment, and accreditation body requirements (NWCCU, CAEP, and national SPAs), staying abreast of industry advancements and applying this knowledge to inform decision-making and enhance educational quality.• Served as the BYU EPP representative in local, state, and national venues, including facilitating communication with the Utah State Board of Education regarding assessment, accreditation, and licensure policies and procedures.
