Homi Stay, a micro hotel located in the Coyudan area of Solo, Indonesia, launched in December 2021. We took inspiration in modern-minimalist decor and a just-right approach of top needs for the budget traveler. Starting the OYO platform as the first Collection O property in Central Java, then made the jump to independently operated. Our lobby restaurant includes the newest branch of Mr. Hiroshi Ramen and Takoyaki- the popular authentic Japanese restaurant as seen on TV, and our coffee and drink bar Kopi Murahati.

In pursuit of my interest in Hospitality, I joined Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Vail, Colorado to learn at an industry-leading organization. A Front Desk agent at this property goes far beyond just checking in, making room keys and settling a folio- it starts with a recognition of the guest and a sincere desire to deliver experiences beyond the ordinary. In my time in the role, I believe I was an impact player that made diverse teams stronger, improved brand perception, and reduced tensions in stressful situations. With my guest-centric focus and proactive approach to finding solutions, I often was seen as the go-to guy to assist a variety of guest services tasks, such as overflow at Concierge handling reservations, assisting Bell Desk during a crunch, or plating for an wedding event. I tried to take the approach that I was above no task, despite my previous experience in other industries. Most surprising, while I've often considered myself an introvert, I took great joy interacting with guests and providing assistance to colleagues, giving insight to what creates meaning for me at work.

Inside and outside sales roles working with architecture firms, designers and general contractors in the specification and sales of reclaimed wood products. Collaborated with designers in personalizing a product solution for the project, and creating several new products that were developed into standard products. I was the first employee to achieve LEED Accredited Professional status and the developer of the company LEED study course.
