Assist in the rolling out of NextGen Enterprise EHR & Enterprise PM projects and involved in one or more capacities including project management, analyst, training, support for system implementation, project coordination, application configuration, workflow re-engineering, change management, and go-live support. Experienced in implementation of NextGen Enterprise EHR & Enterprise PM and training users to become effective users. Work with clinical practice leaders to assess and modify existing workflow and operations to take advantage of system functionality as required. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and the steps necessary to comply with these requirements. Project Highlights:Implementation of NextGen Enterprise EHR & Enterprise PM while assisting the client in opening up new ambulatory clinics throughout the country within three months. Lead through project management, production support, and optimization planning. Worked for a large health plan with their clinical applications department to identify efficient workflows and suggest additional system customizations to better serve their patients. Lead several client upgrades from small practices to large health plans with project plans ranging from 2-months to 7-months to complete. Some clients had minor customizations, and some were highly customized, adding more complexities to the project plan.

Accountable for the maintenance of information systems, including hardware, software, network, and all telephony systems. Administer and monitor network activity and provide reports on the status of the system as requested. Provide Project Management and oversee the implementation process for new technologies. Responsible for the management of a 20-agent Call Center which consists of appointment schedulers, surgery schedulers, operators, medical assistants, and medical records. Responsible for the supervision, training, and management of office staff. Expected to identify process improvement opportunities and to develop and maintain current operations guides.

Investigates and resolves software and hardware problems of computer users. Provide effective first-class technical support for NOI’s information system, individual end-users, and their peripheral equipment in order to minimize downtime and disruption of workflow.

Responsible for coordinating all patient interaction for assigned physicians, including patient appointments, surgeries, administration appointments, meetings, and time out of the office.

With a customer service orientation – registers patients, requests and posts payments, prepares the office for the day, schedules patient appointments, and keeps waiting room neat and clean.

Ensure services have pre-authorizations and are eligible for service on the date of their appointment.

Responsible for pulling, filing, and verifying medical records, as well as ensuring their proper release and maintenance.

Teach courses within College Extension Program, performing end-to-end course, material, and curriculum development for classes of 15-20 students. Provided evening and weekend instruction.
