Focused on firewall protection, endpoint security, threat identification / prevention and active directory integrity. Project budget range varied from $770k to $22m.• Primary liaison for information security department during hospital acquisitions and divestitures. This included overseeing the design, build-out, testing and deployment of new Palo Alto firewalls, domain controllers, circuits and policies to ensure no operational changes affected patient care or organizational performance. Largest project was a $1.2 billion spin-off of 38 hospitals in 16 states to form a new organization.• Oversaw security efforts related to the migration from an enterprise data warehouse to the cloud. This included reviewing network design review, interconnect creation between Google Cloud Platform & legacy EDW from on-prem data center, implementing VPN tunnel, high availability testing and failover, standardizing naming conventions, Palo Alto firewall & 128T deployment, Terraform implementation with ServiceNow & GitHub integration, and creating of cloud security foundations.• Developed Data Protection program for sensitive data across the enterprise environment as more people began working remotely.
