Graduated with honors from the Tecnológico de Monterrey with a degree in International Trade, he holds two master's degrees specializing in regional development: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Applied Public Management (MGPA) from the same university.He completed the Strategy and Leadership Program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (HKS) and the "Creating Shared Value" Program at Harvard Business School (HBS), led by Professor Michael Porter, a global expert in strategy and competitiveness.He gained expertise in entrepreneurship at Babson College and innovation development at the University of Notre Dame and the University of California, Berkeley in the United States. In Germany, he studied Marketing at Ludwig Maximilian University and International Negotiation at the University of Potsdam. He lived in Japan, working at Bancomext Tokyo and studying business administration and public administration for international development at Waseda University.He specialized in Global and Corporate Responsibility at Audencia Business School in France and in Innovation Process: Development of new products and services at Boston University in the United States.He served as Director of International Trade and as Director General of Planning and Strategic Projects at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Government of the State of Yucatán, contributing to positioning the State of Yucatán as the top industrial growth leader in Mexico during his tenure, achieving a 12.1% growth rate in 2016 according to INEGI.During his time in the Mexican government, he served as the General Coordinator of the Tren Maya Project and Liaison for the National Fund for Tourism Development (FONATUR) in the state of Yucatán. He drove forward the comprehensive project for territorial planning, infrastructure, economic growth, and sustainable development, making it the most significant project in modern Mexico.He held the position of Director of the Transportation Undersecretariat at the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SICT), where he promoted secure, efficient, and competitive transportation systems by designing strategies that contribute to the sustained growth of the economy and the balanced social development of the country.Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of U.S. - Mexico Transportation at SICT, overseeing international multimodal transportation issues and diplomatic activities of international protocol.
